Registration fees
While we acknowledge the generous support of George Washington University for the Brera tour, and the invited speakers who kindly accept conditions which help to contain costs, regretfully, due to a very recent change in CNR internal regulations, we have been forced to increase the previously published registration fees by 11%, so that the workshop is economically sustainable for IMATI.
The registration fee is:
- 250 euros (207 + 21% VAT) for students
- 360 euros (298 + 21% VAT) for ISBA and SIS members
- 390 euros (322 + 21% VAT) for all the others
This covers refreshments, welcome supper and farewell dinner.
People paying the registration fee after March, 31st, 2013 will be charged an extra 50 euros (41 + 21% VAT) as late registration fee.
Please be also advised that the workshop accepts a limited number of participants (90) and that all the seats might be taken well in advance.
It is possible to reimburse 50% of the paid amount for cancellations received before April 30th, 2013. No reimbursement is possible after that date.
According to the Italian law, Italian public servants, e.g. employees (but not students and post-docs) at CNR, State Universities, Banca d'Italia, etc., are exempt from VAT. We invite all participants, who are Italian public servants, to pay the amount without VAT.
With regard to the accompanying persons, a registration fee for the welcome buffet and a registration fee for the farewell dinner will be defined.
Registration
Participants are kindly asked to fill the on-line registration form (available from 1/1/2013).
At the registration, participants will be invited to provide all the requested data needed to issue an invoice according to the current Italian laws. In particular, it is compulsory to provide the VAT number if the invoice will be issued to an organisation (and not to an individual) based in the European Union. A Tax Number Id is requested also for non-EU organisations.
After having compiled and sent the registration form, participants are invited to pay the registration fee according to the modality described below.

Advance payments can be made ONLY (no credit cards, cash, money orders, etc.) by bank transfer to the CNR (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche) account:

It is important to indicate in the Bank Transfer the payment details in this way: "BISP8 - CNR IMATI - 050.001" and name of the participant.
Please make sure that CNR will get the exact amount, without charging it the bank fees.

An acknowledgement of the fax transmission will be sent by e-mail as soon as possible.
Registration upon arrival:
If seats are still available, registration and payment upon arrival will be possible by means of a Bank Transfer.
