How to get to CNR-IMATI

By plane

The closest airports are:

All the airports are connected to the Central Railway Station (Stazione Centrale) by direct buses:

From Central Railway Station, take the subway (green line number 2) until stop LAMBRATE.

Linate Airport is also connected to the subway by public service. Take the bus number 73 until Piazza San Babila. In Piazza San Babila take the subway (red line number 1) until stop LORETO and then the subway (green line number 2) until stop LAMBRATE. This solution is cheaper but it takes more time.

From Malpensa Airport terminal 1 it is also possible to take a train to the Central Railway Station (Stazione Centrale), the Garibaldi Railway Station (Stazione Garibaldi) or the Cadorna Railway Station (Stazione Cadorna).

All those railway stations are connected with the subway. Take the subway (green line number 2) until the stop LAMBRATE.

CNR-IMATI is five minutes walk from this stop (see map below).

By train

Long-distance trains usually arrive to the Central Railway Station (Stazione Centrale). Sometimes, they also arrives to the Garibaldi Railway Station (Stazione Garibaldi) or the Lambrate Railway Station (Stazione Lambrate).

CNR-IMATI is five minutes walk from Lambrate railway station (see map below).

The other railway stations are connected with the subway. Take the subway (green line number 2) until the stop LAMBRATE. CNR-IMATI is five minutes walk from this stop (see map below).



By car

From the freeway take the belt highway "TANGENZIALE EST".

Exit to "Lambrate", direction Milan.

Drive throughout "Via Rombon" and straightway in "Via Porpora".

Cross left into "Via Teodosio" and go straightway in "via Ponzio".

Cross left into "via Bassini" until you find the CNR-IMATI on the left side.
